Definition to Remember:

  • APA = American Psychological Association (typically used for social sciences)

Rules to Remember:

  1. Use 12 point, Times New Roman font, with 1” margins on all sides.
  2. Include a running head at the top of every page, with page number flush right. The running head itself is a shortened version of your paper’s title, 50 characters or shorter.
  3. Your essay includes 4 main sections: title page, abstract, body, and references. An abstract is required only on essays that are 8 pages in length or longer, and should be between 150 and 250 words.

Gather at least 10 sources for an assignment you have completed recently or an assignment you will undertake in the near future. Prepare a proper APA references page, taking care to list individual sources appropriately.
